Raiders pivot leads Air Raid on Rams defense
The two time defending national champion Vancouver Island Raiders didn’t miss a beat offensively after Andrew Harris packed his bags for the CFL. The Raiders put up 37 points against a very talented South Surrey Rams defence to extend their impressive home winning streak. However unlike previous years the Raiders did most of their damage through the air, thanks to the Offensive Player of the Week; quarterback Jordan Yantz. The Regina native set a new Raiders record throwing for 398 yards and five touchdown passes on 22 of 34. Yantz seems to have picked up where he left off after winning the Offensive Player of the Game during the 2009 Canadian Bowl.
