Raiders in "Synch" at Western Canadian Schronized Swimming Banquet
April 2, 2009
Curtis Vizza and Graham Romanovsky lent a helping hand for the Western Canadian Schronized Swim Championship at their annual Banquet. This year the event was held at the Coast Bastion Inn in downtown Nanaimo. Vizza and Romanovsky served lemonade and iced tea for the competitors and their parents.
The sight of football players serving swimmers half their size was a little unusual but the boys fit right in, mingling with everyone at the tables after the drinks were all taken care of. Over 100 people took in the dinner that saw travelers from all over the western half of the country.
The VI Raiders would like to thank the members of the Swim Meet Committee for the invitation to the banquet as well as the Coast Bastion Inn for putting on another great event.
