Raiders New Home Ready

Nanaimo’s newest sports field has been laid, and it will be the new practice home of the VI Raiders. Located just blocks away from Caledonia Park, and in the heart of Nanaimo, Comox Field is the best of the best for the defending National Champions. State of the art irrigation has been installed, and a three year old slab of turf was brought in from Abbotsford. The city has told the club that the field will be ready for practice in the middle of June, just in time for the Raiders to begin preparations for the 2010 season. The VI Raiders would like to acknowledge the City of Nanaimo, as well as Palladian Developments for their great efforts in getting this project completed.
